ONE DAY TRIP AT KK

My holiday finally started. The second day of my holiday, my ‘family’ and I went for a one day trip at KK. The first destination was Damai ‘香香板面’. As for me, the taste is just normal and nothing special. However, there are various of choices merely on ‘板面’. There are few examples below..









These were our breakfast as well as our lunch. Next destination was bowling centre. It was just used to spend some time till 2pm. As 2pm was our K-box time!!! LOL

After ‘killing’ our voice, we went to have seafood dinner at Gayang. So far, this was the restaurant I quite satisfied with, as the price and services are good. We chose here as they have live seafood for sale. That’s fresh enough!!!!!

Power of Media

Since august, my line periodically disconnection error for 2 weeks each month. The latest disruption was from 24 sep, till today - 9 october. (ngam ngam 15days) Countless call had been made to the operator and the same reply is being delivered. No matter how strong the node im using, the outcome is still the same. Just a simple call from the TM on the next morning, then nothing done.

My housemate's sister suggested that phone call is always useless. To be a effective way of complaining, write to them and even to the press. Well, it is a good idea indeed. hence finally i made my last call to them last night.below are part of the conversation:

"Mr, it is more than 2 weeks for this disconnection, and i never see any maintenance service had been worked out."

"Mr Loh, i'd checked the system and technical department is working out on it. They need time to fix the underground cabel."

"Within 10 working days, you cant even fix a cable? Later on it is Raya, and dont tell me that its public holiday, i have to wait for another week?"

"Sorry Mr Loh, I know that it is very inconvenient to you for the disconnection. What i can do now is to push the technical department to speed up the repairment."

"Sorry, i cant take it further, i just wait for 1 more day, if there are no any progress, i will make the complaint to the main company and even to the press."

I ended the call. As usual, i supposed that there will be a call on this morning. They did called. My housemate teach me another way of 'silent threatening' - ask for the caller name without telling him purpose. I received the call at around 9am. In one hour time, the line is back to usual. So contradictory comparing a two weeks repairing with one and a half hour.

Sigh...................

'Uncertainties'

i) Am I really so hard to be understand? ii) Am I really a male chauvinist? iii) Am I really dictatory? This few questions remain unknown in my mind. Of course, for me, I persuade myself with positive answers for above questions, however, in actuality, how far it goes true?

i) I know my mood sometimes fluctuates, I know my words sometimes are too direct, but I know what im saying as well. Jokes in my eyes don’t mean the same in others. They might treat it as critics to them. A friend of mine told me that, no matter whatever jokes we spoke, there must be at 50% fact inside. However, what if I really don’t mean it in anyway? Along the way I study management, the process of doing my dissertation, im studying about behaviors. For management, it is more about organizational behavior, and in my dissertation, I study consumer behavior. Every people has their own perception over something, it can me predominate, or it can be changed along the process of growth. What we saw, what we learn, what we listen indirectly forming the way we think, we act, and we speak. There is no universal theory for all behaviours, but I do understand why there are some who act such a way. In the other hand, how deep others can understand my act, my words, my expression? Till now, it seems dropping to zero…………………….

ii) This issue often being discussed among my housemate (the three girls). In their eyes, they rate me as a little bit more to male chauvinist where the opposite I suppose. When I act firmly, insisting on my own opinion, I already categorized as a chauvinist to them. Hence, sometimes it is difficult to get a balance point in such a case. A chauvinist will be good or bad? How much level should a guy should possess? Attitude is hard to be studied, as long as what we did never cause discomfort to others, it considered fair enough. Right? Im still looking for someone who can shed a light on me in future……..

iii) Every case, there must be someone to make the first move, and planning. There should be an organizer for everything. Your family is organized by your parents, your studies are organized by schools or uni, your life is organized by yourself. Nothing will drop to you, if there is no effort being put in. as the saying goes: “there is no free lunch.” To me, I cannot bear to have the last minute decision making as it seems to be in rushing, hence the outcome wont be satisfying. Why people love to have the last minute style where they have plenty of time to make it in a better way? Because it is not of your concern? Because it is not of your benefits? What’s the reason? When I be the first mover, it seems like im controlling everything. In fact, im not a fake democratic, I would prefer to have ideas or suggestions from others. The point is the moment I asked, there often goes no replies. It is quite troubling for one who thinks of where others exploit it. We need interaction, we need communication. I’d like a good planning, rather than ‘surprise’. You might get it well for instance, and that is your luck, what if for a bigger deal? Are you going to practice it in your working as well? Haihz……………………

ME Gathering NIght

Besides Ipoh 2 in 1 restaurant, I haven tried other steamboat buffet at somewhere else. At Sabah I tried one last year but that was just a bowl for steaming but no frying. Now, here I been was quite popular in KK, named Kampung Nelayan. Inside this ‘village’ there are three shops, we chose Putera!!! Background you can check in my previous post.

I always hoping that there will be some sort of gathering for my coursemate as I saw many other courses had such event regularly. Be it a simple lunch or dinner at school or a trip. I envy them so much for being so close with their coursemates. Thanks to Caryn and Sue Shyen (the organizers) that realized my dream. LOL!!!

Since the night still young, and we never planned to return so early. Initial plan was going to have a movie, and then a drink. Unfortunately, there was no any interesting movie on screen at that period. So pitiful were we. Wasted a chance where all of us can gather. Later on we went to the nearest beach in KK –Tanjung Aru.

You can see how speedy was the wind, and how nice the feel chatting there!!!!!







That was not the end of the story. We still have the third destination!!! We decided to go tohave some hard drinks to relax ourselves. This lounge is quite famous around KK – Upperstar











The forth destination is again around the sea…but this is not a beach, but is the port.





We enjoyed the night until wee hours 4am!!! Quite nice the feeling, I would prefer to have it again once in a month….LOL
