Today, i was getting a present for my colleague. I 'consulted' his gf and she said he wanted a kurta for long time. He wish to own one. My ex CFO wore it before during company open house.
Its actually a British Indian style of shirt. So the best place to get british india shirt is to British India la. Though i know we can get it from Masjid Jamek, but due to lack of time, we decided to try our luck in British India, KLCC.
Our budget was just about RM100. We expected a set of this will cost few hudnred bucks and hence we just wanted to buy the shirt but not the whole set hoping that with some sales, it will cost <100. =)
The first Kurta that we saw, its really quite nice, but when i checked the price, i gaped. My other colleagues asking me what is the price. I told her that, u have to contribute 60x of your contribution then you should be able to buy this for him. (Market value for event contribution is RM10) Hence we forego this shirt. Before we leave, we saw another one, and my colleague check on the price.
Fuck man! THe design is even more plain, it costs abbout RM900. My colleague shouted out loudly:" This shirt costs damn expensive where it just looks like for the beggar to beg at the roadside." Again, i was stoned. Luckily she spoke in cantonese and the sales girl is (unknown race). I quickly dragged her out of the shop.
I scolded her:
"Eh, can you please dun speak in such a way in their shop? They are selling it so expensive and so high class, u said that's for beggar?"

Funny Incident 2
From now on, I'l constantly update some of the office funny incidents or conversations. LOL..
I received many emails from other departments, and some of the senders i only know their name through email but not even know the person. Some of them i cant even remember their name, i just look through their email for the attachments. lol
I received a call, and she addressed herself as 'Thi Ji' (my own pinyin).
"I'm Thi Ji calling from Customer Service Department."
I heard it as "I'm Digi, calling from CS department." I was so curious that how come Digi will call me?
"I sent u a file not long ago and would like you to check on it whether any problems with it."
I'm more confused and i asked her what's report she had sent me.
"It's about complaints resolution."
I was thinking i didn't lodge any complaint to Digi and why she sent me the file.
After i think further, perhaps she was the one who send me monthly report but just tat this month, they changed ppl in charge and hence im not so familiar with her name.
I re-illustrate the case to my colleagues. She suggested me that next time when i receive this kind of call from "Digi",i can just tell them that:
"i'm not interested."

Sabah Trip (Convocation)
As in my previous post, I was indulged in reminiscence. I recalled the past experiences in Sabah and I missed some of the time. Recalled the moment that I marched out from the hall.

I went back to Sabah last weekend, besides the above mentioned, I wanted to attend my hometown friend + Sabah housemate + close friend’s convocation. Many of my colleagues, relatives questioned me whether I went for my love one, or tackle my target. Nobody believe that I really out of friendship but not affair. Ok, I will show who is she, and why I’m so ‘desperate’ to be there with her.
My primary reason:

1) My hometown friend
2) My housemate for 3 years
3) To be her cameraman
4) Most important is, she did alot for us when during our convo time. 90% of the Kamparian ppl grad 3 years but left her alone studying 4 years. hence, i must back here to support her.
She had lots of 'labours' with her. She had a cameraman (myself), a make up artist (another friend flying all over to support her as well), and also a kuli (to help her carry all the gifts and presents).
Other reasons: =)
To meet some of my coursemates in Sabah and also from another adjacent course (mathematic with computer graphic)

Coursemate who grad as Master now.

To meet lengluis:

My ex-housemate:

My coursemate:

My housemate’s fren.

My Junior from Kampar:

Super Senior:

Seafood Dinner:

Lobster

Taufu

Vege

Shell

My coursemate treated me a family dinner

In order to thanks her:

Never order roasted pigeon here. Totally different from the pic. (different scale) and this cost me RM5.90. zzz

Funny Incident
My colleague passed me a box of "Dragon Ball" biscuits from Penang.
I was quite hungry by the time of 6pm and i'm still staying bk in the office. I took one of it and for me i wont slowly bite bit by bit. I put it in my mouth as a whole. At this time, the phone rang and i cant pick up the phone as the whole biscuit still in my mouth. I asked my colleague to pick it for me and tell the caller im not at my place and will call him/her back in short while.
I never expect that its my SM who called me. She just sit not far from me and in fact she can just see my place without any blocking. My colleague burst into laughter when he told my SM that im not at my place. zzzz
So paiseh... She called me go over to her place while i'm still chewing the biscuit bringing along my water bottle. zzzzzz
