What are the differences?

I never expect to have 'close shop' meal from my department. However, my boss able to get one for our own division, a table for 8 person. We went Restaurant Chui Heng to have dim sum and 'yee sang' .

This is not the main point of my title mentioned. After we had our lunch, we were asking for dessert, as per conversation below: (funny part please refer to chinese characters) from my AD.

"今日有么耶甜品啊？"
What do you have for desserts today?

"西米露，雪蛤膏，红豆沙，。。。。。。。。"
Sago, hasma, red bean etc

"红豆沙好热吗？我赶时间."
is the red bean soup hot? coz im short of time.

"是，热的。"
ya, its hot.

"好鬼热的？"
izit damn hot?

"............"
speechless

Point: What is the difference between "好热", and "好鬼热" which the waitress really dunno how to answer my AD.

Direct Reports Away Day

Last week i break my own record for working till late night. Previous record was just 9.30pm. This night, i left office at around 10.45pm, because of the preparation of Direct Report Meeting away day the next day. I have to assist my boss to get the slides done and the printouts.

This was my first time to attend such a big meeting event at somewhere out of the office. The venue for this away day was in Mandarin Oriental Hotel. In fact, i have least important character that day, and just my boss want me to tag along to get more intact with the business.

I was afraid to attend such an event initially since my english is not so good and i might not have enough background as well. In addition, i dunno most of them. This was how my boss reply me and made me speechless.

"You know Mahathir?"

"ya."

"but Mahathir wont know you.so who do u think between u and Mahathir will be in higher rank?"

*speechless*

"so in fact u r higher rank than all those direct reports and hence you should attend."

Im back

Finally, im back to this virtual world which i had long lost from it due to technical difficulties of the internet access. From my last msn display message, my last online was 31 Dec 2008. In which, i cannot online since last year. Fuck man!!

I keep on searching around to find the best internet service provider which can cater my needs at an affordable range. Again and again, comparing prices and so on, at my very first thought, i opted Izzi.

I discussed this with my boss on this topic since i cant work from home and i cant send him email. After a short round of discussion, i changed my mind to support Celcom 3G. My housemate told me that one of our friend is working for Celcom and he would able to give us a discount if we subscribe from him. So again, i wait for another few days as he work in Menara Celcom and we wont able to reach him. We set an appointment on Saturday.

I search in the internet and some of the brochures regarding this broadband service and i really attracted by their advertisement and their services. Finally, i went to Low yatt to enquire face to face about the details and payments which eventually i find out that there are many surcharges. Fuck!!

Few hours in low yatt, bump around in every outlet, i was forced to back to my initial option which what im using now - Izzi!! Haiz.

Total initial loss plus high set up cost = RM 979 shared by two!!! (luckily currently izzi having a promotion period and free 2 months subscription to me, an OX year born baby..@@@)

Bad tempered?

I know that im quite stubborn and bad tempered sometimes. However, that's my behaviour, that's my attitude. I cant change myself. Some of you might feeling ridiculous for me saying that i cant change myself. Yes, i can but i refuse to!!

Why? Why? Why?

Sometimes i just dont want to scold people for showing such a sibeh "lan c" face, i just dont want to throw my tantrum to them but i will just keep silent and show my dislike on my face. OF course, some 'optimistic' people they wont notice the change, they will keep friend to you and being nothing happen around, impressed!!!

In fact, i just dont like people to talk loud to me, unless they are correct and im definitely wrong. I dont like people to show the style of a dictator with only one say. I dont like people to control my decision, if only i was consulting. I dont like people to 'threaten' me with something. I dont like people to .......

Ya i dont like many things. Am i hard to pleased? Not really, i just need some communication in between. Arh!! I just dont want to think bout this.. tomorrow everything will be as usual.. okok!!!

Last for a week ady!! I wanna recover!!!

Slacker Part 2

Last friday, we are unbelievable back earlier from lunch. We reached office at about 1315. (Ate Pork - Siu Yok) Since there are still some time before working time, my boss were seeking for games which can kill sometime. The new trainee didn't bring his PSP neither me, hence my boss recalled a game in his pc which is the monopoly game.



We played three players with my boss's laptop for a short game until 2pm.



We can customize the rules that suits our taste.


Here it goes..


We set the time limit to 2pm but obviously we were not satisfied with it. Hence,my boss suggested to ride over the VNC server and create our own VNC system. He appointed the new trainee to go to BIU unit, find a vacant pc and invited BIU manager and one of his staff to 2 v 2 (BPS v BIU)

However, the server that we created was not really so smooth and we were kicked out by turns. Thus, this should be fine tuned again before we really start with the game.. Hehe..

Slacker!!!

Last week i damn slack actually. No no no, is my whole team damn slack!! Since a new actuarial student is doing his internship with my team, he brought me chances to go around to have my lunch.

There were just 4 working days last week (monday is public holiday), everyday i went out for lunch before 1230 and back after 1330. In other words, i had my lunch time > one and a half hour.

Lets do a summary:

Tuesday: Ampang Yong Tau Fu. (1215 - 1340)
People: Boss, me and trainee.
Delicacies: Literally, of course yong tau fu.
Comments: Their speed of serving is really incredible, they have specialization department to serve one plate of combination of the yong tau fu. This is one of our haunted place for lunch. Whenever there are free time we will go here.

Wednesday: Maju Junction (1220 - 1355)
People: Boss, me, trainee, BIU manager, AM 6 sigma.
Delicacies: It is a mall and there are lots of outlets inside. We chose Pizza Hut.
Comments: Just normal pizza but the topic of the day is religion philosophies. :)

Thursday: Segambut Seafood Mee (1215 - 1400)
People: Boss, me, trainee, Reporting Manager, BPS Senior Manager, AM 6sigma, AM actuarial, Expense Senior Manager.
Delicacies: From the name,we ate seafood mee, but not me.
Comments: Its chibaily expensive although seafood mee inclusive of sotong,lala, prawns, crab, lalalala.....but it cost RM15 per bowl for small one. Fuck man!!!

Friday: Jaya 33 (1200 - 1500)
People: Boss, his wife, me and trainee
Delicacies: nagomi japanese food
Comments: In fact, im just longing to pay a visit here where PRU got a training academy here and it is beautiful nearby. Hence i suggested to eat here.

Why I will think of posting this kind of post here? It is because we slack for friday. Just after the lunch, secretary asking us for longan session where she brought lemon to add in. Wow, when i IM my boss, to have it at 1630, his reply was:

" We are damn slack today man, zero productivity."

LOL!!! So syok...
