I was invited by my cousins to this dinner. All of them are the members of the said organization. Last year they went with this org to China to search for our root. The origin of each of our family. To know who are our ancestors etc.
They are getting closer to each other and hence they will join all sort of activities from the org. In fact, my father is a member since he was young. Because of this, i can get scholarship from this org since primary school until Form 6. (of course not every year, there were few years im not qualified)

Before attending this, i knew very early that they wanna me to join this org at young age. If possible, be their committee and change things. I would have no issue on this actually but just not feeling to join at current time. To join as member, we have to pay RM100 for lifetime membership. My relative told me that, i had received a large sum of money from them, its time to retribute them. zzzzzz
Recalling the time i received all these scholarships... No more for now.. sob sob

Initially, i still can refuse to join, but before the end of the event, they get one mui mui zai and 'tam' me to join. Haiz.. and this mui mui zai now had become my sister. We still chat in MSN and FB.

Never get cheated by her look.. You will never guess her age correctly. haha!!

My Wife is ???
Today, my cousin sister treated us a dimsum lunch at Six Happiness @ Selayang Capitol. On my way back home, my auntie had a casual chat with us. Topic was about what kind of wife we should be looking for.
Before we went into this topic, i actually said that her daughter as a teacher is quite difficult in looking for another half especially she is a kindergarden teacher. The persons that u meet will be parents of the children where definitely 95% above married. For your colleagues, i guess it will be less male teacher, even it does, how much he can earn as a kindergarden teacher? You will hardly have a future with him.
However, my friends and me also would prefer teacher for the following reasons:
- they can have more time with the family and children (semester break)
- shorter working hours (normally half a day, can be morning session, or noon session)
- they can teach their own children (with more patience and also the skills)
- im sure they are more polite in nature and also more motherly feel
When we came to this point, my auntie mentioned that the old ones won't like 2 type of career. One is teacher, another is nurse. Why?
Teacher - The grandparents will of course teach their grandchildren with their own ways where the modern parents (esp teacher) disagree with. They tend to stick to their own way of teaching and would not like the old to teach any thing.
Nurse - Will have high level of cleanliness. They will say this is dirty and that is full with germs. You know the old one would always feed their grandchildren with their fingers or play with them without washing their hands etc.
Well, they have their points as well. When we further elaborate, we found out the more professions cannot be chosen, such as:
Doctor - afraid she will control your diet or give you some 'funny' medicine to control u. zzzzz
Lawyer - sure she will keep argue with u and asking u to respect the privacy, to have humanity.. zzz
Insurance - she will ask u to buy alot of policies with the beneficiary name all hers. zz
Accountant - she will take over ur control over ur own personal financial position. u hv to pay 'tax' for all ur income which further reduces ur net income. zzzz
OL - they will have lots of entertainment and they have to buy lots of new clothes to be at the tip of the fashion sense etc. hence high maintenance. zzzz
Hence, 7 of the profession above are out of the list. Who else i can choose for? Haiz!!!

Skytrex Adventure - Part II
The previous skytrex that i have been to was a medium level challenge named - Big Thrill. And now, i went to the ultimate one - Extreme Challenge.
In general, i felt that Big Thril wil have more fun where there are alot of Flying Fox and the challenge was not so tiring. However, in extreme, its really more strenuous. It is more on balancing, upper body strength as well as your biceps. I can say that its quite different from Big Thril. Although i do exercise every week now and then, but my hands still cant stand the load. Pain for few days. zzzz
Last event we have 25+ ppl attending but now just left 7 of us.. pity!!

My finger was hurt due to a challenge i accepted in the event just for the girl beside me in the first pic above. They offered that if i can climbed up the third ladder within 1 min, i was given a chance to kiss her. LOL. (though i know its for kidding). I was able to make it on time, but the girl counter offered. If she can climb up within 1 min also, the deal is void. And of course she was able to make it as well. So, still cannot kiss the girl. wahaha!!

My gloves after the event..

Funny sentence in the toilet - Tutup Pili Selepas DIGUNAKAN, Elakkan Pembaziran Air
Tutup Pili i think is meant for us who use it. but Digunakan should meant for the pipe right? Or we are the Pili? LOL. (Hope you all can get the joke)

Core Value Week
My company had launched new core values, and there was a PRUamasing race to go togeder with the launching. In this race, it will incorporate the 4 core values. The race was about solving clues along the way starting from Menara Prudential and back in one round. There was treasure hunt along the way by solving clues as well.
It was a fun event. I never realised that treasure hunt is indeed a good event and you can gain great satisfaction when you are able to solve it. My ex-boss is a good hunter and he always join external hunt organized by the public. Everytime, he at least come back with some prizes. He did ask me to join these kind of events, and he said that i have to pay for the lessons. Soon i can become a professional hunter like him.
Last Saturday, i had the opportunity to expose myself to treasure hunt. I never know that there are some skills needed. You need to train your mind and you know how to twist the clues. You need to have a good knowledge in everything as well. English is very important too.
There are basically 6 hints for us to break the clues. We shall look into it:
Anagram clue - a word or words with letters mized up to make another word/s
Clues: may be, perhaps, mixed up, could be, around, from, different, not, make, mad etc
Eg from my race: Da Vinci Rag Creation - Cigar Divan
Definition clue - Other words that are of a similar meaning.
Eg from my race: They serve us desert here - (dun get misleaded by dessert. it is desert) the answer is Restaurant Sahara Tent
Sounds like clue - the word is not spelt the same but sounds the same
Clues: it is said, mentioned, i hear, aloud, noisy, etc
Eg from my race: sounds like two you roll to take a chance or maybe heavenly i hear - Paradize (pair of dice to roll and to take a chance)
Initials clue - the first letters from a word's
Clues: initially, at the beginning, head, capitals, at the start, first of, etc
Eg from my race: Between Edward and Eric's head is hardwork - etoile
look back clue - words that reveal other words when read backwards
Clues: recall, return, back, from right to left, east to west, etc
Eg from my race: Nil.. hehe
hidden clue - a word found within another word or a sentence
Clues: in, within, part of, some, etc
Eg from my race: Male cat holds a six inside - PaVIlion (until now i really cant get how PA - Lion = male cat)
Another way of solving the clue is in different language. It could be in Bahasa Malaysia hinted by some clue words like local.
Eg from my race: A malay lady said wanna eat eastern food - MunaKata Japanese restaurant
Learned alot in this event and i really hope that i can participate more in this kind of activities. I must get more prizes and prizes from this. =)
Besides this, actually i know more places around the KL vicinity area as i have to look those sign board one by one and in every detail.haha.
We had KFC (voucher given) after the amasing race. As all of you might know, nearest KFC to my company is their headquarter which is located in the middle of the city. Hency on weekends, their supply is not that sufficient for the bunch of people from Prudential. Hence, ends up--->
We need to wait for a long time. Since we sat at the corner, we have to show it this way. zzZzZzzz

The aftermath after us..

More pictures following after this..

Gathering for Classmate 2002 (@2009)
I had graduated from my alma mater for 7 years since 2002. 2 years back, someone organized a great joint-gathering for 5 classes during CNY. Although there were some complaining, some were not satisfied with whatever reasons, to me it was a great one. Ckyue, u shud keep the good job!!!!!
Last year end, a mini gathering was hold and it was meant for those classmates who are working in KL area. If i remembered correctly, we had 3 tables to accommodate all of us.
They made it again for this year and i was glad to be invited to this wonderful event. Some of you might agree that even for bulk gathering, people tends to segregate themselves according to their own group. However, at least we get to see each other faces, and know what are they doing.
The left and the behind were the organizer for this:

Date: 8 Nov 2009
Venue: BBQ Tastypot Steamboat (Opp Sunway Pyramid)
Time: 7pm - 10pm
Again, a picture paints thousand words.
Atmosphere (after 9.30pm)

Want to see how nice is the food? Refer to his mouth.

We ordered spicy soup and how spicy it is?

Yummy.. thank you Ckyue

Funny moments:

I was 'melted' by her.. zzZzzZz

This two pairs are challenging each other by imitating their actions:
First

Second pair followed by

Then goes more challenging - passing ice cream through your mouth

Which second pair only return by this... zzzz

This 3 guys are mahjong addict. If you are familiar with mahjong, you should know what is '大三元'. They call themselves as '大三元' coz one in green, one in red, one in white. zzzz

What are you guys doing?

Except the girls, all KL doggies (MDBC) were here.. Great!!!

And you know what make MDBC different from others? Check on their table compared to non-MDBC

You should be able to tell which is MDBC and which is not.

Big family photo, (except two went to pay without our acknowledgement0

Last but not least, my closest female friend.

A Pleasant Journey
Last weekend, i went back to my hometown alone. Nothing special, just feel like long time din go back, and merely miss my mom. Apart from this, i took the opportunity to call for a short briefing with the committee of the camp which im going to organize in Dec.
Why i said this was a pleasant journey of mine? Previous practice, i back on Friday night and the first thing we did was Indo mee goreng from a Mamak Stall - Ghany. Then of course followed by few other sessions like chit chatting or loitering in cyber cafe.
This time, i opted to back on Saturday morning after i had a good sleep. Actually i prefer to drive in the morning instead of at night but provided that i had a good sleep the day before. Without fetching anybody, i can set off anytime at my own pace. Nobody disturbing me along the way back and i really can view the 'scenery' all the way back to kampar.
I reached home about 12pm and i had lunch with my mom. Then a long chat with her as well. I din go out at all for the noon and i took a nap after that. At night, normally i will disappear myself in my house and went to nowhere. Surprisingly, again i stayed at home watching old movies of stephen chow. Since i have no TV in my KL home, i was like totally outdated from the current tv show. After stephen chow i watched the ring which i found it quite sien. Nothing so scary in this movie.
Not that i dun want to go out actually, but it was raining and the only friend that went back to kampar was tired and he was not willing to go out again. Hence, i unable to taste Indo Mee, go to CC, play snooker, and blow water, but i gained the time with my mom. I'm sure my mom is glad to see me stayign at home all day.
Another good reason in a Sunday morning was in a saloon. I went to cut my hair and actually a good customer service really important to a customer. Besides the hairstylist has his skill, but he also remember the details of the customer. He not only know who am i, where i work, but also those friends that came with me in the past few times. He is good in this, i really impressed!! He worth for my patronage. For kamparian who want to visit him, go to Eternity Saloon, one floor above Maha Maju.
After this, i went to get some snacks for my working time and also bought my mom an eyedrop. Her eyes seems to have some kind of infection with something swollen inside. Hope the eyedrop cure.
Then, i fetched my mom to my grandma house which i din do it for some times already since i worked in KL except those festival seasons. Purposely went to pay her a visit. Ehm... not bad.. I miss my grandma also. =)
After all these, the pleasant moment came to a fullstop and i have to get my way back to KL. Again, i was driving alone, at 150kmh, with music at volume 25, i sped off back to my home. In fact, i think alot of things and it was a fruitful one. Nobody talking to me, i can just focus on my thing, go straight and thats it. Feeling good.
Overall, i din really did those thign that i wish to, but stil was a pleasant one to me!!! Cheers!!!

Funny Manager
Erm, when i was concentrating on my work, here pops up an email notification. I was shocked when i saw the email there written sent by another manager of mine. Though im not functionally under him, but he is with the finance team, and i am quite close with him (my lunch mate as well).
Okie, lets have a look what he sent me. Nothing in the email, no attachments, no wordings, just the title.

Hope you can see the title. The caption was: "The other auditor wearing in black shirts looks pretty. Back u up morally to tackle her."
Walao faint man!!
And the funny part was there were actually few auditors there. There were only two are quite outstanding. However, her hairstyle is quite outstanding also. Its bit like punky and not tied up. Another one is really sweet. And hence:
To identify both of them and for our internal communication, we call the punky one as:
Lion Gal
And how we call the other one?
Sweet Gal
Walao eh.. so big difference.
Anyway, she has bf and i has no chance also.. wahaha!!!
